| Leaking struts and Air bag lighton When removing the studded tires I noticed both front struts leaking (35K miles) Luckily the extended warranty covers leaks on these, while driving it to the shop to get the estimate for the warranty company, the check air bag light came on. The shop found the drivers seat belt tension had thrown a incomplete circuit code. It was cleared and over the last few day it has not came back in. Anyone else see this, is it worth doing the $250 repair or should I wait to see if it comes back in again first. Per the Tech it is funtioning normal at this time. One thing to note, they day before I was vacuuming it out and noticed the kids had shoved the back floor carpet all the way up under the driver seat, I am thinking this may have moves some wires maybe causing the code? Or is this another CAD code that just comes in for no real reason? Also I cannot believe a 58K$ car has both struts leaking this soon. It will be for sale 6/2010 the same day the extended warranty expires !!!!!!! if it makes it that long, my daughter is learnig to drive !!!!!!!!!
Thank god for the extended warranty. |
