I would recommend a slightly less invasive method.

Me too. The horns were easy to get at after this "modification", too. They were stuck blaring after the air bag deployed. The first thing I did when I got out of the car was unplug them. Seemed like the most immediate issue to resolve at the time.

    Re: P0410 & Loud Whine

2003 Deville 71,000 miles. I have the P0410 code only. No drivability issues and no noise. Does anyone have a procedure to test the system before I install the kit PN 19515548? The vacuum lines and hoses on top of the engine look fine.

    ----------

I just checked both valves and the both will hold 20" of vacuum.

I also checked and on a cold start I have vacuum to both valves. Also the car has no history of the AIR pump making noise yet it had the P0410 code??
