JC Whitney had a couple different options. I got the
Metro Supersoft since they also have the rear doors and I figured that meant they probably had the best fit.
It fits good and is the right material. One minor concern is that it is not a single uninterrupted piece but instead is a single piece that has a join at the top corner. The door wants a curve there but the foam has an angle mold, however it seemed to go into the channel groove no problem.
The biggest issue is that the push pins were not in the right place at all (I think only three or four were right), however the material is hollow so it was no trouble to use some needle nose pliars and make holes where needed.
The biggest hassle was getting the old glue off. I ended up buying some 3M adhesive remover and used a roll of paper towels getting the old stuff off. It took about four hours to get all the old glue off. I also bought some 3M weatherstrip adhesive and that stuff sucks--I will have to take the stuff off again and use some contact cement instead.
I still get a little bit of road noise at 30-50 MPH, but it mostly goes away or gets drowned out above that. I went to the carwash and it looks like the top corner of the door does not have a solid seal, but it's not bad. I suspect that the problem is that after ~23 years the door has become warped; I need to get the top corner pushed in a little bit when I get some other minor body work, and there will be no problem.
