The engine was pulled and the one head was removed with the suspect valve and broken spring. Maybe part of the $702 worth of parts includes the timserts.....
As of Tuesday the car still was not done... My mom asked if they were going to test drive it when they completed reassembly and the reply was .. we can, but that just means a short run in town.. not the highway... My mom said what good is that??? The reply was.. do you want us to take it out on the interstate..? She told then to drive it 50 miles north and then return.. all at the speed limit of 70 ... don't know if they'll do that.. although they should...
The question has been put to them about timeserts.. I haven't heard the answer... yeah, I kinda hate most dealers too....
I'll post again when I get an answer from the dealer or my parents...
