That's a sharp ride. What are the specs on the wheels (diameter, width, offset)?

they are only seventeens, not sure about the offset, but they are 17x7, not big but they lower the car a tad, and it gives a great ride, umm i have a 7"touchscreen deck installed with 2 12"s in the trunk, ported box, and a 1200 jackhammer mono amp

Wel congrats to you, sir, you must be a magician. I know that's what the manual says to do but when I looked up into the hole the lower dash cover reveals I just laughed. I could not get my fat ass in the car and upside down enough to get to it without pulling the IP. I might be able to do it that way now having done it before, but it would be a miracle if I got it done that way.

It wasn't that bad, I could pull the IP in like 45 minutes if I had to. Once you do it it's relatively easy.

We tried heat and then hot glue to fix the dash pad, that's why it was still off in that photo, but nothing worked.

Yeah it was a pain in the ass but at that time I had never taken the dash off before so I figured it would be easier. Now I've pretty much taken the whole car apart and reassembled it but changing the core was a few years ago so I'm not sure exactly what the process was or is.

Haha, yea seriously. I've NEVER seen anyone around me or met anyone locally under 30 driving anything besides a import or some cheap generic sports car like old beat down mustangs or Camaros. I guess maybe I'm the stupid one for owning a Caddy? It would probably be wiser to drive a Civic since they "Run Forever" and get 40MPG require little to no maintenance.

    Re: pics of your fwd

Just got my '05, 49xxx miles. Base with just about everything (more to go wrong, huh - lol!) I think it only doesn't have the night-vision and a power-tilt/telescope steeringwheel.
This car is fun! Didn't think I'd be saying that about a fwd Caddy. Found the speed limiter doing the WOT earlier today. An indicated 111mph. Seems like it's castrating the Northstar...

That Northstar sure has some giddy-UP

Hahahaha that's the thing here too. Junker import, junker sports car, or a pickup truck that's all show and no go Other than the slightly increased maintenance costs I'll always have a Cadillac in my garage, and a V8 Cadillac at that Smoke some ricemobile/sportscar/truck any day!

Nice DeVille by the way thedill Looks very clean. OH YEAH! The N* is a zippy unit alright

That's not the hood ornament that came on an 05 Deville. That's the old design "Ducks" wreath from an 01 or older Cadillac. 2002 and later models have the new wreath (no ducks).
