helicoils will pull out again... guaranteed... inserts or studs are the only way to go with these engines

studs are technically better but helicoils are just an expensive bandaid

Helicoils: You don't want those wires to hold all the torque, but looks like it's too late..

    My 97

Been in the family about a year. I reacquired it a couple months ago. Just in time for head gaskets/bolts to go. Attempting to reach Northstar Performance for setting up repairs. They are sure difficult to get a hold of!

jake's busy because he's more than good... he's basically the best
and there's only so much that one person can do
he's going through some growing pains right now but if you can be patient he'll treat you (and your car) right

actually any dealer with 1/2 a brain will program your cluster for you. My local chevy dealer did it for free. My non local caddy dealer however said it could only be done on the Seville STS not on the Deville DTS. I have my name set on driver 1 and Co-pilot on driver 2. It's a shame that the nav screen still says driver 1 and driver 2.

Thanks, I was actually considering removing the rain guards but I've gotten way to use to being able to light up a cigar in the rain without getting wet that I couldn't imagine not having them now. Aside from black on black, this dark blue on black was the exact color combo I wanted when I stumbled on to it.

    Hi All. New member here.
My name is Rod from CT.
I picked up a 1994 Cadillac Deville Concours a couple of weeks ago. My first Cadillac.
It's in decent condition with 110K on it. I need to do a few minor cosmetics but it runs and drives great.
It's already had it's 100K maintenance done. All fluids, filters, plugs, wires, etc...changed.
I look forward to reading and learning more about my new ride as well as talking with other Cadillac owners.

    Here's a few pics.

Thanks, had to custom make them since the deville doesn't come with them. And the only aftermarket solution wants $1k to do basically the same thing I did for less than $200.
