Re: pics of your fwd

:banghead:
I'm too new, it won't let me post my pics. The webmaster thinks I am spamming. Let me get my post count up, and I will show you my pics. I can't blame him though. I googled Cadillac sites specifically to post links for porn.
Nice. Go to photobucket.com and get an account there. It is a great site and is how I post pictures to the forums. The site automatically resizes the pictures for you and creates the code to embed it in a post.

Daniel, get a photobucket.com account. Its free and makes posting images to online forums much easier than uploading them to the forum itself. It will automatically resize them to whatever you want and then it writes the code that you simply copy and paste into your post.

Brizzal, did you paint your headlight reflector so you no longer have a hi beam? Also, what are you planning on doing with the extra bulb socket for the inner section of the turn signal? If you feel adventurous and slightly ricey you could add some strobes there, it would stand out nicely at a car show.

the high beam kinda went out the window when i changed headlight lenses, as the beam pattern was screwed. i dont know what im going to do with the socket, its like that for now to keep the water out. ive been thinking about strobes but im not sure yet

Re: pics of your fwd

I promised a pic of our daily driver (and I just got a new phone :D) so here it is:

Pretty? No.
Good condition? Almost.
Aggressive looking? I think so.
A practically un-muffled exhaust? Check.
One of the toughest, nicest (inside), aggressive sounding DD's you could have? Yes sir! :D

I know the DD looks a lot like my sisters car; that's because it used to be. After my dad got it sandwiched between two cars he bought my sister another Red on Red '93, and we fixed it up on literally no-budget, and there it is today! Its waiting for a transmission rebuild (toasted).

I took some other pics too:

My dads car, we were installing a new trunk pull-down motor today.

My car :D: I would have started it and made a video for you guys, but the battery is completely dead. Its hooked up to the charger now (the cord running above the headlight) so hopefully by tomorrow it will be recharged. If not I'll need to get a new battery.

Re: pics of your fwd

You need to Ebay yourself some center caps. :)

Your car looks the best IMO. I am not a fan of white exteriors or red interiors and the quarter roof on your Dad's car is ghastly. You don't see a nice gray one too often.

Re: pics of your fwd

^ We have the center caps :D They were in the trunk, because my dad takes them off when he has to park for more then 30 minutes; we've had them stolen before. He forgets to put them back though. :yup: For the DD they're in the basement.

Yeah, I completely agree about the colors, we only bought red because thats what my sister wanted, and my dad only really liked the white one because it was $900. We're still trying to figure out what to do with that quarter roof, we all hate it lol.

Re: pics of your fwd

Rodya, that red Deville has some potential if you'd detail it and throw some whitewalls on. Like dirt cheap says, center caps are a great idea here as well.

The biggest item with potential here to me is that red paint. You can tell that it's got plenty of luster, and there's a lot more of it that a good quality clay bar, polish, and wax could bring out of it.

I believe that color is carmine red?
