Thanks, I forgot to mention it only has 113,000 miles, exterior is almost flawless just a small spot on the trunk where the clear coat came off Interior is flawless just also no rips just needs shampoo on the carpet, literally everything works except the reverse. Im gonna pick a new or rebuilt tranny next month until then I just have to park on an incline. Going to have somebody check out the leak next week some time. Bucky's maybe?

That was a great color in those cars. I like the gold pinstripe and thin white wall tires. Personally, I'd get a set of gold emblems for it and tint the windows. Great looking car.

For better lighting, look into PIAA Intense White bulbs.

Gorgeous! Thanks for the better shot of color. I agree that is an outstanding color for that car. Perfect blend of stately and sporty.

    Enjoy and welcome to CF!

That does look nice. Bet a D'elegance in that color with all the gold would be wicked.
I almost bought a green 98 here last year, it was a nice looking car. Next one will be green if I can get one. Not horribly found of my silver colored 98.

It is the 24Karet Gold trim package from Bay View Cadillac. The Dealership offered limited numbers of these Deville's (from what I am told). (Gold Firemist paint code WA370E) And thanks a lot it is a sweet ride. I just clocked 41K on it yesterday.

Most dealers used to offer their own "package" or "edition". They just installed a combination of aftermarket roof treatment, trim, rims, grille, and then tacked several thousand dollars to the price..... They're nothing special but that doesn't mean some of them don't look very nice.

I found the color code on a tag underneath the spare tire cover. Its U370E or WA370E for 1998 DeVille but I cannot locate the paint anywhere for sale. I just need a small amount for rock chips, etc.

The problem is my car is dark green, that code is for a Gold color. Makes me think the car may have been painted green at some point? Maybe the spare tire was from a salvage vehicle? Who knows but it looks like im going to be doing more detective work.

If the paint in the spare tire well was green, the car was always green. You could also check under the rear seat bottom, in the engine compartment...
