Not quite as cutesy but just as functional. Always handy to have a possibles bag of tubing and various inline, X and Y tubing connectors, too. |

problem sovled. Picked up the plenum boot last night, installed it and everything else (took bout 20-30 minutes because the parts where already removed)
started the car up.... it struggled and went back to sputtering and spitting.... but that lasted for about 8-10 minutes. around that time i notice the engine was shaking and jumping no more, so i check the tale pipe for sputter....didnt even sound like the car was on.... got in....and it was idling nice and smooth.
check engine light was still on tho..
but just checked it a few minutes ago, NO check engine light.
got my smooth ride back
preciate the advice and thanks again to all |

I noticed that the rear harness was cocked but it appeared to be on, the gray locking mechanism was engaged but I was able to push the harness in about 1/4" and it snapped into place correctly. I started up the car and it idled smoothly drove it around the block and man what a dirrence in pickup. I'm happy to say that my problem is solved thanks to all of the wonderful people on this forum. The moral of the post "check and recheck all your wiring harnesses as well as your PVC hoses. |
