I have a little problem my 96 deville which has 97,xxx miles on it shakes a little at about 48-50 mph. and it slips transmission at about 41 mph.

Could this mean transmission going out???

I'm getting ready to sell but i've put so much custom addittions on it.

Re: Could this be transmission???

The one thing that jumps out at me is 41 MPH is where the TCC engages.

Re: Could this be transmission???

Torque Converter Clutch. Do a search for it. It has been discussed many times. Not sure if that is your problem or not. It should not cause any noticeable slipping I wouldn't think.
