| Re: How to replace a LF window regulator on a 1994 Deville Concours? I'm not sure about how the regulator works however, I do know how you can get to it. The interior door panel needs to come off; the panel comes off by pushing it up from the bottom. Make sure you remove the window, seat, and mirror control panels first and pop off the clip that holds the plastic corner sail panel by the mirror. Also CARFULLY remove the pastic panel with the power lock controls and unplug the wiring harness. Pop off the two plastic covers on either end of the door-pull handle and remove the screws with philips screw driver. After doing this, CARFULLY lift from the bottom. Once the panel as come off, CARFULLY pull the panel far enough away from the door to pull the two speaker connectors off. Put the panel someplace safe, along with the power controls. In order to get to the power window equipment you need to pull back the black rubber sound absorber panel. It is stuck on with a black, gummy, tar like substance. Again, be careful with this as well. |
