My '98 Deville trunk will not open with the remote or the button on the dash - only with the key. Dealer says this is a $200 fix. On my meter there is no power coming through the solenoid so I assume that is the problem. Is there a good source, other than the dealer, for a replacement and what should it cost? Thanx

Off the top of my head, I suspect that solenoid has a very low failure rate. |

Thanks guys |

I had the same prob with my '95 DeVille, & the thought of the valet switch never entered my mind until I started reading this thread. Much Appreciated!!! | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
