    WHEELS: Meguire's Wheel Polish
    VOGUE
W'WALLS: Westley's WW tire cleaner & a stiff nylon brush

She gets waxed 2 times a year, May & September.
For rubbing off the wax I use D & F Micro Fibre Wax Remover Cloths.
NOTHING EVER on the Vinyl Roof other than car wash soap & water.
Under hood gets damp wiped 4 times a year, once each Season.
From October thru April 15th she hibernates in a rented garage,
that is dehumidafied, heated to 65 degrees and under 24/7 guard
in a totally concrete & brick building, in a private locked stall,
battery disconected & wearing a brake club, with a full tank of gas.
(Gulf Premium). She wears a "Wolf" brand car cover with an
underside of soft cotton-weave mesh. From April 16th thru end of
September, she ventures ourside (very carefully), and adds around
750 miles to herself, or like 150 @ month, most of it on the interstate
    cruising around 50-65 MPH.
All service performed by a Cadillac Dealer & all paperwork is kept.
She also goes to a few shows. She is 14 years old, now!

I find it all telling that in excess of a dozen people on this thread as well as on the other thread
have posted to say the results they experienced with the Dove & Pledge were fabulous, and only
the two venders, looking to vend their wares & products have opposed what I use & suggest.
I might add that I use the same on my daily driver, the 2003 Town Car Limited and she has
"normal" miles and her grey/beige interior looks & feels as new and has NO "wrinkles" nor "cracks"
in the leather, as most 4 year old cars with leather do.
Very good post and pics in that link!

I have no products to sell, don't know why you think I did? Gary (turbomangt) has way more than a dozen or so people praising his products on this board; I've never tried them personally but many people seem to enjoy them.

But do you see these pictures

My dash doesn't even get that dusty after a month of DAILY DRIVING, not to mention that I got out a lot, and usually am the one driving, oh yeah and I used to smoke so there would be ash everywhere and it still wouldn't be that dusty. I use meguiar's quick interior detailer wipes ($4.99 for 25, or about $1 per month if I clean my car every two weeks using two sheets) which has uv blockers in it, and it repels dust a lot more than the $2 can of pledge method, A LOT MORE. So let's hear your excuse on why that dash is so dusty. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!

    Re: dove soap

Yup, the dash was very dusty, and as ya know, black magnifies it 100%. I had just uncovered it & pulled it out to take the pics. I noticed it, but was in a hurry so I just took the photos. Afterwards I damp wiped it off. Guess I shoulda wiped it before, but I was in a hurry. If you look closely....you'll see a bird pee on the hood, front left (driver side) just over the headlight. That happened as I pulled it out of the garage. Like the bird musta been perched & waiting for me. Immediately POOP ! I never saw it until I went to back it back into the garage ! Springtime, I tell 'ya....

Look over the headlight, a runny bird pee !

    Re: dove soap

im not above average on knowledge on leather treatment by no means, for me its conditioner and cleaner, but i read a post above about saddle soap??? sounds like a great idea to me, anyone use it??? the reason i ask is im in the army and have worn many a pair of black leather boots which have been under the stressed of being stripped, shined, reshined, heat, rain etc and one of the key elements in keeping your boots from cracking is a good treatment of saddle soap every once in a while, if it could keep a pair of boots from cracking under very strenous conditions i imagine it could work wonders on the life of a cars leather....????

I don't have any leather cars, but if I did I would use neatsfoot oil. My dad uses it on his saddles and boots, and they never crack and always look great. Its basically just rendered animal fat. CAUTION: When buying neatsfoot oil make sure it is not the kind which is diluted with petroleum based solvents!
