    Cleaning floormats

What's the best way to clean the floormats? There's some dirt absorbed into the carpet right where my heel rests, and the vaccum doesn't help much.

I use a stain remover and a toothbrush on tough spots. I've used an extractor twice this year, works like a charm. When they were really bad, I used a pressure washer with a wide tip, and then ran them through the dryer.

throw them in the wash machine, with some ALL or pretty much any stain remover, oxy clean works great on carpets, just make sure there is no bleach in the mats, add fabric softener, i always do this then let them hang on a clothesline in the sun for a few hours and they will come out like new and very plush.

or you can get a stain remover brush, and use some laundry detergent and water or carpet shampoo and scrub it in then vacuum the way detail shops do, loosenin the dirt first and then vacuuming it out.
