    Installed Hood Ornament and Grill

I change my stock grill to a chrome looking one (SLS ) and had a hood emblem installed
The appearance of the car has really changed greatly with those add-ons . I owe a thank you to tristateauto on ebay because thanks to his outstanding quality products ,the car is looking excellent after putting those accessories .
BTW, I wouldn't believe that a hood ornament in a grill mounted car would help the car look more beautiful
I higly recommend any STS owner to put those emblems (more generally grill mounted Cadillacs) on their ride

I agree. I also dislike the two together. My opinion is that the hood mounted emblem belongs on larger cars or more luxurious,(Fleetwood, DHS, Brougham) cars the the grille emblem should be reserved for the sports models (CTS, DTS, STS).

You swapped your STS grille for SLS? No objections, I just always see people do the opposite (_T_ gtille on a _S_ car)

Re: Installed Hood Ornament and Grill

STS grille ,stock one, is in the garage whenever I choose I can put it back
Anyway, why I put a hood emblem was that I saw a FWB on Fleetwood Forums with two emblems (grill mounted and hood ) and it was looking outstanding and decided to do the same . As I recall, it's a '96 Fleetwoon with moonroof . (the member name either 96LT1 or 96 Fleetwood if my memory serves me correctly )

hey looks like you used the older style emblem, those are nice but for the new body styles which are less squared i think the new emblems fit better, the ones like on the 2000+ deville, its slightly larger and flows back almost if distorted by the wind

Re: Installed Hood Ornament and Grill

I love old ones especially the way crest looks . A few days ago I talked a guy whose car was '02 DTS and he also told me that old emblem style was better looking .You know tastes are different .Mine can be moveable and never flows back by the wind .
