Ok I was too in the beginning. Gary, you need better marketing.

Anyhow, the Poly Seal product are the polish and protect products which replace wax as we know it.

The Professional Paint Sealant is a liquid polish applied normally

The Poly Seal Spray is what I like to think of as a 'Quick Detailer' replacement. However it's a little more robust than that. Final detailing at a show or just a quick refresh after a dewy morning.

Ultimate Spray and Shine, hmm maybe that's what I meant to order? I guess this is more of a quick detailer spray than the Poly Seal Spray? Now I'm confused. Is the Poly Seal Spray just a spray version of the Professional Paint Sealant?

The Ultimate Dressing is a rubber, plastic, tire product.

The leather products are self explanatory and unless your paint needs cleaning then you don't need the paint cleaner or the clay bar.

I would start with the Professional Paint Sealant, Poly Seal Spray and the Spray and Shine. If you need the dressing then get that also.

The reason you see some people using this stuff in combination with other product is, I think, just the fact that we're using up stuff we already own. Now that I've answered both of our questions I need to order a few other items.

    Re: eagle one - nanowax

Sorry. I did mention the paint cleaner though. If you're in need of a cleaning I recommend clay. It's awesome. This was my first time using clay. It's easy and the results are awesome. Just keep it wet wet wet. Lubrication is the key to the clay.

I didn't mean the marketing thing in a bad way it's just that the product names are a bit confusing in comparison to conventional over the counter products.

I'm really sorry for confusing you. I'll shut up now

    Re: eagle one - nanowax

Here is a list of all my products and descriptions,
    Perfect Auto Finish

    Ultimate paint cleaner:
A mild abrasive deep cleaner to be used after washing and clay procedure. Contains polishing oils to restore a wet look shine while cleaning the finish. Simply apply about a quarter size amount of product on an applicator pad, work product into the finish in back and forth motion, remove right away with a micro fiber towel. Work in small sections at a time. Not in direct sunlight.

    Ultimate Paint Sealant:
A highly reflective finish that will also provide superior protection lasting up to 6 times longer than any wax. Apply a small amount on an applicator pad, do the entire car and let it sit for app 20 minutes. Remove with a micro fiber towel. (Recommended using paint cleaner prior to using this product for the first time)

    Ultimate Spray and Shine:
Water based non protective product used as a lubricant for clay bar, and for removing smudge marks, finger prints, and dust. Use whenever necessary, simply spray and wipe with a micro fiber towel.

    Poly –Seal Spray:
A petroleum based product that includes some of the properties in my paint sealant. A coat of poly seal offers added protection to your finish, giving the paint sealant added depth and brilliance. Use this once a month or whenever you want to “refresh” your finish. Continued use of poly-Seal will keep your car in show room condition. SHAKE WELL. Spray and wipe with micro fiber towel.

    Ultimate Dressing:
A water based dressing safe for all rubber, molded plastic, and vinyl. Shake and spray on your engine, tires, wheel wells> use an applicator pad to apply on dash, inside door trim, rubber seals and other interior parts made of same. Will not stain or harm paint.

    Ultimate leather cleaner;
A neutral medium alkaline cleaner safe for all leather and vinyl. Simply spray and wipe clean.

    Ultimate leather conditioner:
A Lanolin based conditioner ideal for all leather to ensure oils are kept in leather to prevent from drying out. Use after the leather cleaner. Apply a small amount on a pad, work into the leather, continue until you are done, then go back and buff with a soft towel to a satin shine.

    Clay Bar:
Automotive clay is specially formulated to remove surface contaminants from the finish, ensuring the finish is as clean as possible. This critical step is key is obtaining the most reflective shine on your vehicle. After car is washed, get a bucket of water and car wash soap solution, have your spray and shine handy. Flatten a small piece of clay in your palm; remove all jewelry from your hands. Lather a section of the car you are working on with soap solution. Dip the clay in the solution as well, now spray the clay and the section of the car you are about to clay, (NOTICE NOW MUCH I EMPHASIZE LOTS OF LURICATION)now rub the clay back and forth, when it starts to feel like its hesitating, repeat the procedure. Continue over entire car. When you’re finished, do a quick wash to remove clay residue, dry and your ready to deep clean.
p.s. If you drop the clay, throw it out, it will pick up millions of tiny dirt particles, which will harm your finish, use it wisely.

Micro Fiber is the softest most absorbent material on the market. Nothing comes close to this product for drying and or removing polish, wax/sealant or cleaning windows. They can be used over and over again, wash as you would any towel just don’t use fabric softener

I know what your sayin bout the names etc.. causing a bit of confusion.
It almost sounds like some of the products are the same thing.
To tell the truth, even after having visited Garys site a few times, it wasnt until his post above that I realized the Paint Sealant and the Poly-Seal Spray were two diferent products

Its not as though you had confused me more.
It was a long hard day, hadnt had dinner yet and was past my bed time lol.
I think if I heard a fly fart I probably would have lost my chain of thought.

This vehicle was my first time using clay as well.
I also thought it was awesome.

Am adding something Gary said to me in a reply to my PM that he didnt include in his post above. Its about the Ultimate Paint Cleaner. :

"........keep this in mind, clay removes micro contaminants that are "ON" the finish, the paint cleaner/polish works at scratches, and other blemishes that are "IN" the finish,........"

    Think its important.

    Thanx

    Re: eagle one - nanowax

That is important. So now we have several steps to a great shine.

    Wash
    Clay
    Wash
    Clean
    Wash
    Seal
    Poly Spray
    Spray and Shine

And It's Show Time. Damn I'm tired just thinking about it.

Code, you need to buy myDVD, on the above post you have, should read
    wash/clay/wash/ (dry) paint cleaner polish/seal
you don't have to use the polyseal for the first time applcation of the sealant, use poly once a month after the initial detail, the spray and shine is lube for clay and for removing dust etc inbetween, you guys are killing me. LOL Gary

    Re: eagle one - nanowax

No, I understand that now. I used the Poly Seal Spray after the first Paint Seal application just to add an additional layer of protection. I WAS going to use it like the Spray and Shine but now I know that this is NOT it's intended purpose.

I have a grip on it now. Don't worry I've got it I swear
