Cool 99 Deville steering wheel swap....

Wassup my fellow Caddy lovers. I was wondering if a 2000-2003 deville or seville wood and leather steering wheel with airbag, could be placed in a 99 Deville with all leather steering wheel with airbag ?? I've always liked leather and wood steering wheels and I thought about purchasing a Grant fake woodgrain wheel ring but if it's possible to swap out with the real deal, then why not ?? Would there be any compatibility problems with the wiring harnesses from one to the other ?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanxxx a million......

I swapped out my '97 Deville's wheel for a 2002 Eldorado wood/leather combo. then dyed it with a kit from leathermagic.com.
    Came out "Aces".

I've been searching everywhere for a quality replacement wheel for a 99 STS (interior: Pewter). I've also wondered about swapping a newer wheel into the 99 I have. Also the wood/leather OE combo appeals to me like a moth to a porch light. A local salvage yard has an 02 Seville and an 03 Deville with excellent wheels and air bags still attached. Would either of these work? I know there would be some extra switches at the bottom, but I'm more interested in not having my current wheel that looks like junk and a nicer one that is eaiser to find.

I read on one of the boards that someone knows how to recover the 99 style leather wheels? Is this something worth having done? (I'm an idiot when it comes to sewing).
