    My New Wheels....

My new 20x8.5 Zenetti Aire's on Pirelli 245/35-20 rubber.

I loved my stock "Blade" DTS wheels but these really bring the personality of the car out. Surprisingly, I can't tell any difference in ride... I was prepared for the worse but it still rides great and no rubbing even though i have the
    eibach spring kit.

Your DTS was the best looking Caddy I had seen , Hitmoney - and one of the defining points were those chromed blade rims creeping along under the lowering kit.

I don't know about the new ones - sure, they look "Aces" on the black-out-beast, but I think the stockers were more appropriate.

Just my opinion and I wish I had the $$ to offer to buy your old wheels from you!

I know.. believe me.. it was a tough decision to change, real tough.. the blades are classy. I like to try new things with my caddy.. it is always in a state of flux. Also.. about 6 months ago another Blacked out DTS showed up here in my lil beach town. I started seeing it everywhere. Same as mine, even night vision, dark tint but it wasn't lowered. A few times now people have said.. "Hey, I saw you yesterday....." and it wasn't me. Even my detailer who knows my car in and out claimed to have seen me somewhere I wasn't. So now there can be no mistake.

And about my blades... my wheel guy had to dismount my tires to get the tire pressure monitors out to install on the new wheels so it looks like i can now sell just the tires or just the wheels.

Next up for my car is a projector lamp retro-fit.

Nice!! Do they make those in 22's? I also have a black on black DTS with tinted windows also. The funny thing is that I have the bar code sticker on the same spot like you do for my gated neighborhood!

Yup, they make em in 22's but I think 22's are too big for a DeVille. For me it is all about flow, symmetry, and above all.. stance.

You can make crappy wheels look good if you get the right stance and awesome wheels can look out of place if the stance is not right.

IMO, the DeVille's pillar hieght is not tall enough to make 22's look right... they won't flow correctly. Thats why big wheels look so damn good on 300C's.. that car has enormous doors and the height from the bottom of the doors to the roof line makes it so large wheels flow with the car.

I think these wheels also look good because they are solid and not spokey and the chrome lip ties in the chrome molding that runs underneath the side windows. Spokey wheels wouldn't look good because it doesn't flow right with a car that has alot of sheetmetal IMO. That's another reason why these type wheels look awesome on a 300C. Another wheel that is similar to my Zenneti Aire's are the Lowenhart's, but they are 3 piece wheels and for 20's cost 700.00 a piece.

Blown Z... You are not allowed to get them if you live within 100 miles of Tampa!!!!! LOL

Thanks for all the compliments, it was a scary thing to do by changing the wheels, but i am very happy with the result. The car is really getting alot of attention where ever I go... funny how wheels changed this car sooo much.

    Some more pics from today....

    Hitmoney,

Don't worry, if I got those style rims they would be 22's and in chrome. Also, I'm in the Chicago area so it would be all good!
