    Chips in the paint

    Is there an easy and cheap way to fix chips in the paint. I have 2 on my hood bout the size of a popcorn seed and they bug the living crap out of my when im washing it. Thanks

    There's a method using several layers of touch-up paint, and a toothpick or pin to apply the paint. I'm sure google can help here. Do it now while it's hot outside, that way it will dry fast and you can probably get it done in one day.

    I've only tried to do this once. (black car)

    It was an adequate solution, certainly better than a re-paint, but I didn't sand it or buff it down.

    Get yourself some artist brushes (fine ones) at a local craft store and some laquer thinner, the trick is to use a dot of paint, which you cannot do with the attached brush they give you with factory paint. keeping your brush clean with the LT, just touch the chips with a dot of paint, I do this all day long on cars, owners are happy.
