    couple of body repair questions

i have a small (one inch diameter, half inch deep) dent in my front bumper on a 93 deville, chrome bumper. Is there an easy way to pop it out without ruining the finish?

i was rear ended in tennessee (spelling?) by a woman with no insurance (apparently you just get a citation in tennessee for not having insurance). I've already salvaged a bumper and a lot of the trim pieces for t he repair, but the part of the body that meets the rear panel that covers the tail light is bent under about an inch. (the body is folded over itself) is there any way to straighten that out?

i'll try to post pictures soon.

    ty.

if the bumper is what i think it is then your only true fix will be replacement otherwise you will always notice the dent

The dent has stretched the metal, and therefor it will require shrinking where heat and pounding it with the proper hammer will meld back into place properly.

i figured as much on the bumper. I'll probably be looking around in a junk yard here soon. If i can keep finding decent looking chrome, i'll probably end up replacing all of it...

    what about the body?
