Does he still have any left?

Most of the time, its all about technique.

But I've heard mixed reviews about Insane Tire Shine and Cockpit Shine.

Yes he does as he's not like me (that why I gave it to him as I knew he would rarely use it). The Cockpit Shine has a look and consistency like baby oil and reminds of ArmorAll's Detailer's Advantage Protectant (I didn't like it either, and yes, you guessed it, it went to my son). One ArmorAll product I do like is the new ArmorAll Protectant Gel in the yellow upside down bottle. I picked it up on sale and use it on those exterior parts of the car that constantly get hit with sun and under the hood in the engine bay. I'm actually pretty impressed with it. My favorite vinyl protectant is Vinylex by Lexol.

For tires I have used, for years, even before it showed up at some of the auto stores: More Shine Less Time by Stoner Solutions.

P.S. My son likes most of what I give him because it's free!
