Winter time and the mind turns to upgrades for the Springtime

Has anyone checked out CHRFAB's site for their high end, crated N* replacement motors, among other things? While their engines are set up for off road use, some of their other products are "right up the alley" for the kinds of things I was thinking of getting for my '97 SDV - "Lucille".

Things like their polished cam covers and polished FI manifold cover would, IMHO, give my engine bay the dressing up I'd like and defintely set if off from the myriad of other 97-99 SDVs we have around here.

Has anyone else done this and if so, how was the fit/finish of the end product? Was it a walk in the park to replace the stock unit with these upgraded babies? Anything that could jump up and bite my ass during the install? Plug wire issues? Did these products degrade the performance in any way from the stock set up? Stuff like that?

Do they have any non-N* items for dressing up under the hood?

Even though we're talking appearance enhancement, this may be better suited in the N* forum.
