    thanx

If you use something on your leather seats I wouldnt worry about using it on the wheel and shifter, It should be fine since thier still leather.

I like eagle one, never tried lexol.

I got the 2-in-1 eagle one in a blue spray bottle since no where here had the the cleaner/conditioner seperately, and I didnt have time to wait for a online order from anyone on any product.

My seats look almost new, not even a little faded and I wan't to keep them that way, and still use the car.

    Thanks,

I have been using Lexol for several years and am very impressed. I even use it on leather jackets and the in house on leather upholstered furniture. I found out about it from the Corvette Forum. I am sold. By the way, try the NXT Meguiars waxes and detailers. They are great too--all at Pep Boys.

you are not supposed to use ANY silicon based cleaners. Silacone plus dirt and sand = sand paper.... DO NOT USE SILICON

Cool Re: Best leather cleaner and conditioner?

There's a company called F.A. Seeds' that used to make a car care kit that I thought worked really well. They still make their leather conditioner which I use on my leather seats, especially during the summer. I've used their stuff for years.

    I second Leatherique.

Best thing to do is wait for a really hot day, park in the sun, coat everything liberally with the Rejuvenator, lock everything up tight, and let it bake in the sun for about six hours.

Go back out with a lot of clean white terry towels and start wiping. When you're done, go over w/ the Prestine Clean and you'll be good to go.

So can you use soap and water to get the dirt off. Then use the leather cleaner/sealer?

Watched it. Was looking through the detailing forum and someone said use leatherique or something like that. Would you suggest it?

I just used Leatherique for the first time and it is just great. Cleans effectively and leaves no residue. The one thing you have to do is screw a sprayer top to the bottle to apply, which is not supplied. Not cheap but I am impressed.

I've used Leatherique on other cars and have been impressed. I'm ordering some to use on my Cadi this summer.
