    How do you clean your brake dust build up?

    I can't seem to get my brake dust build up on my stock chrome wheels.
    Any ideas? I tried one of those wheel cleaners with no luck

    Soft towel, and some simply green or meguirs stuff, just something very soft and apply some pressure...i wish there was an easier way...

    They have a plate thing that you can put behind your rims to protect it from the brake dust but they look kinda stupid

    You can clay your chrome wheels just like you would clay your paint, if you keep them waxed they will stay clean longer and the brake dust will not stick as much, a synthetic wax will last 5 times longer than a carnauba on your wheels

    If you have the liitle slots, id recommend using a pressure washer on it!!!

    I use formula 88 and it gets all the dust right off like nothing u might wanna give it a try.

    I know this sounds too simple and doesn't require buying a bunch of special products......But, I use soap and water and a sponge. If I run into a stubborn spot a soft scrub brush does the trick.

    Once you get the wheels clean you can try ZoopSeal. This should seal them up, protecting the rims and making future cleanups easier.
