    Paint Conditioning

    Catera Owners:

I recently purchased a 98 Catera. The car was neglected by the previous owners including the paint. It appears that they may have set objects on the hood, therefore scratched the paint. The scratches do not expose metal, only primer. Also, the plastic bumber covers and front have scratches too. What can I do to recondition the paint and plastic short of repainting the car. Thank you.

High speed polishing should take care of most of your problems.

Either buff or have your car buffed out by a good detail shop, then you will have a better idea of what your options are.
