Instead of the wood trim what about stainless steel?

I had no idea where to put this so i'll make a thread i guess. This SLS has silver instead of wood what do you all think of it? And how hard would it be to replace it with maybe stainless steel?

Personally, I'm not a fan of metallic trim in luxury cars, but a mod like this is all about personal taste.

Painting or wrapping the stock trim would be fairly simple, there are also trim kits available in all kinds of finishes, that cover everything but the stock wood dash pieces.

Replacing the panels with custom ones, would be much more involved.

Yea me personally i don't like it and would never do it to my car since i love the wood grain and the steering wheel would look odd with silver. But maybe in better light it would have looked better.

    Just watched the whole video.

IMHO, that silver is way too bright, and it makes the car look horribly tacky. It reminds me of a ricer fad: Take out all of the removable trim, bezels and vents, and spray paint them white, or electric blue, or bright red, or silver, or some other ridiculous neon color.

The gloss black looks pretty good on the normally matte pillar trim.

Those are by far my favorite Eldo rims, but they don't suit the car in my opinion.

Funny how quarter panel rot and holes in the bumper, repairs easily reaching $2K at a good shop, are described as "nothing major".
