    Another Wheel Question

What is the biggest wheel size I can fit on a 1993 Fleetwood Brougham? I just bought this car a few months back and since winter is almost over, I am thinking about getting new rims. I don't want to do any suspension work so please non of that nonsense! Thanks!

    Re: Another Wheel Question

I think 20s look nice with the right tire, 22s look too big to me. Neither should need suspension work, unless you want the ride quality to be a little better. Make sure your tie rods and stuff are in good condition because you add more rotating weight.

    Re: Another Wheel Question

Well, I really need height and width dimensions, also correct me if I am wrong but I need an offset of 0 correct? I am looking at getting Gianelle Cairo rims, I am thinking 22's might rub with the wrong width so I am trying to avoid that. The other worry I have is about the rear with the wheel covers on the wheels being too wide. Thanks again for the help.

    Re: Another Wheel Question

If you have skirts on your rear wheels then you cant go any wider than a 8" wide rim. Like others have said, you can go up to 20 or 22 but I would stick with a 20. 20's are usaully the limit on stock suspension and dont put too much stress on your suspension parts. A 22 will rub in turns and greatly decrease your turn radius. Im not sure of your offset, but I had a 94 Deville and it required a rim with a +35 offset.

    Re: Another Wheel Question

I would go with 22s they fill the wheel well alot nicer in ratio to the size of the car. I also have a 93 Fleetwood that i had 22s wide on. Trust me you will be more satisfied with 22s. 20s will look small...
