    Another Wheel Question

    What is the biggest wheel size I can fit on a 1993 Fleetwood Brougham? I just bought this car a few months back and since winter is almost over, I am thinking about getting new rims. I don't want to do any suspension work so please non of that nonsense! Thanks!

    I think 20s look nice with the right tire, 22s look too big to me. Neither should need suspension work, unless you want the ride quality to be a little better. Make sure your tie rods and stuff are in good condition because you add more rotating weight.

    Well, I really need height and width dimensions, also correct me if I am wrong but I need an offset of 0 correct? I am looking at getting Gianelle Cairo rims, I am thinking 22's might rub with the wrong width so I am trying to avoid that. The other worry I have is about the rear with the wheel covers on the wheels being too wide. Thanks again for the help.

    If you have skirts on your rear wheels then you cant go any wider than a 8" wide rim. Like others have said, you can go up to 20 or 22 but I would stick with a 20. 20's are usaully the limit on stock suspension and dont put too much stress on your suspension parts. A 22 will rub in turns and greatly decrease your turn radius. Im not sure of your offset, but I had a 94 Deville and it required a rim with a +35 offset.

    I would go with 22s they fill the wheel well alot nicer in ratio to the size of the car. I also have a 93 Fleetwood that i had 22s wide on. Trust me you will be more satisfied with 22s. 20s will look small...
