    1990 fleetwood fwd-1993 fleetwood fwd

I have a 1990 deville fleetwood front wheel drive and i need a new hood. I dont like thee 1989-1990 style hood and would love to put on a 1993 hood.

what all am i gonna need to do this? I can get the hood and grille assembly for cheap will it simply bolt on to the 1990 car? there is nothing wrong with my hood except some rust

I cant picture the ffront of a 90, but I think the front bumber is also slightly different, and possibly the fenders...If its the change I am thinking although it was not a major redesign I think it was signifigant...I am sure it could be done, but you could end up swapping out the whole front clip. I have never checked it out, but I would not be surprise if the whole thing were a direct bolt up. The issue I would be concerned about is the new hood/grill matching the lines of the old everything else.
Its a very subtle but signifigant difference.

It will take a lot of work. The redid the whole front end for 1991. You will need a new hood, bumper, bumper trim, turn signals, a grille if the hood doesn't come with one and possibly new headlights.

But it would be a cool project....I would love a 91+ front end on an 87-88 rear end (I like the taillights), an 89 sixty special interior (so you get the cool seats with the power storage comparment), and a 2003/2004 northstar motor.

Then again, a 93 front end on a 90 would probably be easier

I think a 93 hood on a 90 is possible the major change in those years is the hood and the grill became one peace in 92, rather than seperate in the 89,90,91. The 89-93 sedan deville or fleetwood fwd is basiclly the same car except for the hood and grill and engine.
