    Re: sanitize leather?

I need to get Leatherique for my car. A buddy of mine was bragging about how great this Meguiar's leather conditioner was so I tried it on my seats... what terrible crap. It looks and feels like my seats have been slathered in Armor-All. What a waste.

It really is an excellent product. Used it on my old 98 Eldorado leather, too, with amazing results. I just use it and am in no way connected to the company. Good Cadillac leather deserves nothing better!

Leatherique makes a great leather care set. A little heat from a blow dryer really amps up the cleaning power.

    Re: sanitize leather?

Would you guys suggest Leatherique for my 1999 Escalade interior? The seats, door insert, centre storage/console? Does it clean and recondition? Or is there a package with products for each?

I had a place detail my truck but they did a piss-poor job. When I picked it up, there were bleachy splatter marks on my seats! They didn't properly shampoo. And they broke my bass, treb and fader dials

I am detailing my cars from now on, no one will care as much as me.

    Re: sanitize leather?

Yes, just order a basic kit and give it a try...I think you will be very pleased. The website is Leatherique.com with instructions and details. Give it some time in a hot environment and it lifts contaminates from the leather so that when you use the cleaner it removes them. Comes in two containers, but he key is to let it work a few hours. My old 98 Eldo had great leather that had not seen good care and it restored it, fed it, and made it soft with a pleasant leather smell. The product has been used to treat Bentley leather and is contains absolutely no silicone, but collagen. Good luck!
