Question what do you think of the California Car Duster ?

What do you think about the California Super Car Duster, anybody used it before , does it really takes off Dust without scratching the Paint Surface or to leave marks. is it safe for the paint or is it just another boogy product ?

I like to have a dust remover because I live in a dusty city, after I wash my car like in 1/2 an hour it is dusty.
So ideas apreciated.

Re: what do you think of the California Car Duster ?

I've had a couple for quite a while and really love 'em.
I have a large one for the outside and a small roundish hand one for the interior.

If the vehicle is actually dirty,.. that's one thing.
But for every day dust or pollen etc. they're Great and make it easy to keep the vehicle clean.

Re: what do you think of the California Car Duster ?

NO mud or very dirty car, I am talking about normal thin layer of dust hardly visible from a distance but really visible from close distance.
So no scratches or other kind of clearcoat thin marks/scratches ?

Re: what do you think of the California Car Duster ?

Nope, the Duster works great on "dusty" cars. I dust my lady every other day when she's cleaned up. They last a long time, too. I've had mine for a couple years now.

All car nuts have or should have a California Duster. It's a must.

I also have one of the mini dusters for the interior. And I've been thinking about getting a water blade, but I'm not sure I trust them..

Re: what do you think of the California Car Duster ?

When my Cal. Car Duster finally wore out, I went to a local detail shop who sold me a fine woolen duster like you might use in your home. Didn't work nearly as well.

I also have their water blade and have not ever been able to find any marks left by it on two very well maintained vehicles; it's a huge time saver.

Re: what do you think of the California Car Duster ?

About the blade, I just worry that a little piece of grit might find it's was onto the edge and get scratched into my paint. If I could get over that fear I'd be set.

those water blades are safe to use,a detail shop guy I know uses one all the time,I'm to cheap to buyone,I use an ordinary squeegie like you would use on house windows,it works fine.

Re: what do you think of the California Car Duster ?

I love mine, Its great for in between washes but dont expect it to take up dust and mud...don't even try if you plan on keeping your caddy scratch free!!
