Plus, I picked up some Turtle Wax Platinum Ultra High Gloss stuff that looked promising, and I figured for eight bucks, what have I got to lose.. ( I usually test stuff on the Deville and then if it looks good, use it on the Eldo.. LOL)
Wash and rinse, a quick go over with Klasse All-In-One, and a coat of the TWPUG..
Overall, I'd say it ain't bad for an OTC product. Goes on easily, wipes off easily. It doesn't hide a lot, but then that's not what it's for. The Deville has a lot of little scratches and nicks and chips, but I'm holding off on repairing them until later in the spring.
THe TWPUG has a very nice shine, not really "wet" per se, but very good reflectivity, to my untrained eye. It even smells halfway decent. Doesn't appear to stain trim too badly. Just applied with one MF towel, buffed off with another. No special treatment. I usually apply stuff like this fairly thinly, but tested a small patch where I really glopped it on and let it cure. Didn't seem to make any difference in either the labor to remove, or the depth of shine.
Attached are a couple of greatly reduced images, note the sharp reflections of the tree branches overhead.
TWPUG: I'd give it a 8 out of 10. Don't know about durability, that's the unknown so far.

Melissa took the car to Princeton yesterday. This morning, she had a combination of some water spots, and some dusty Salem earth from the 45+ MPH winds we've been having recently festooned around the body. (The Deville, not Melissa.. )
A quick wipe with spray of H20 and a water moistened MF pulled everything right up. Normally I'd put a bit of QD on a towel but I wanted to leave the TW unchanged. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
