    Cost of emblem kits

I have a 97 deville in which the emblems are a little worn. They are the "gold" coated ones. Around how much would the kit for the car cost. Hood, both driver and passenger door, roof emblem and the 3 emblems on the trunk. I want to get them in chrome. Also if I can get them online that would be great to .

Call a dealer to see how much they are. The only other way to get them is probably on ebay or to get them from a junk yard.

They are as much as $200 and more for a full kit from the dealers...ebay usually has some great ones and if you google around Ive seen sites with them for around $150 full kit some even less.

The reason I ask is because the dealer I went to wanted $250 and I thought he was trying to rip me off. I don't want to go to ebay and wait around for someone to be selling a kit. Anyone know of a website that has them in stock ?

That's a decent price IF you are getting ALL of the emblems new from the dealer, I'd go for it.

This is late, I know, but you can always check your local body shops. They can get them at reasonable prices.

    Re: Cost of emblem kits

They're rediculous. I went to the Caddi dealership to get a rear quarter "Sedan DeVille" emblem for my 89 and it was like 40 bucks. For 1 freakin' emblem.

Heck, when my dad got his Monte SS last year, 1 chrome exhaust tip from GM was 40 too. Crazy.
