Best Place for Touch Up Paint?

Remove this ad
Hey guys I was wondering if anybody could give me a recommendation on a good place to buy some quality touch up paint for the Caddy. When I brought her she had 58K on OD and had a fair amount of rock chips on the lower bumper indicating she was a highway queen. Considering my car is Dark Polo Metallic Green, the white chips kinda stand out. Any and all help is appreciated.

Re: Best Place for Touch Up Paint?

I wouldn't buy touch-up paint anywhere other than the dealer. I bought some for my old Camry from AutoZone and it didn't even look like the same color, even though the codes matched up and the name on the bottle was right (Super White).

I bought my Sterling Silver touch-up for $12 from my local dealer and it matched up great.

Re: Best Place for Touch Up Paint?

Oh ok thanks Ryan. I thought dealer prices would be alot more than that. I will call my local Caddy dealer and pick up a bottle.

Yep mines does. I just picked up a GM factory matched touch up bottle from Germain Cadillac and the guy asked me if I wanted the bottle or the spray paint can. I dont have the balls to attempt to spray paint the Caddy so I just opted for the bottle that has the ball point pen and brush cap. I only have small rock chips anyway so I dont need a spray can. I would call around until you find a dealership that has it. If not I believe they can order it for you. shouldnt cost too much either. I used to shop at automotivetouchup.com for my touch up paint and spend about $25 for a bottle of paint and all this time the dealership had the OEM factory matched stuff for only $11! I guess the dealership can be good for some stuff lol!
