OE Wheel Peeling

Hi all,
Any suggestions on how to clean up an OE wheel that is peeling? I guess it's some sort of clear coat material that is now chipping away after 15 years. Thanks!

Once it starts, it's fatal (for the clearcoat). Do some snooping....there's a great wheel shop in the Millersville/Annapolis area......try Tony at Mobile Wheel Repair at (cell) 240 888 0321.

Just an update, I picked up new rims at Discount Tire. It was much less expensive than recoating the wheels.
