I guess I'm a perfectionist... My 03 deville has the 'vintage edition' package. Most purists don't like it, but the wife fell in love with it, and I've come to enjoy its uniqueness. My first Cadillac was a 56 sedan deville (in 1972) with dual air and the radio delete option - two tone pale green with a cream top. Custom ordered for the daughter of the dealership in Tucson... We searched and found the ultra rare Kelsey Hayes gold anodized mag wheels for it and added wide whites.
Luckily the package was the chrome version - not the gold version. That would have been over the top for me... The 'vintage edition' uses the old style Cadillac emblems with the 'V' under the crest instead of the wreath.
Soon after we bought it I noticed that one of the Vogue Corona wheel center caps was missing the 'V'. The crest was there, but the V had fallen off. These wheels are long out of production. Searching on line I could find the gold vintage edition center cap, but no chrome.
I called Vogue today - they still had just the 'V' available in chrome. 15 bucks tagged to my credit card and its on its way!
