for CLEANING.. i say just save the $ and use some vinegar.
that's all i've ever used on all the polished-stainless tips i've had, hit em with the hose real quick when done=no smell

for POLISHING.. there's lots of options.

I use SOS soap pads to get the clean, does a great job.

I use Simple Green and 0000 steel wool. Then I clean up with Windex. I'm sure many things will work.

I clean my glass with the same things.

Some automotive stores sell a cotton wadding polish called NevrDull. Long used for aluminum aircraft skin, it's now everywhere. The cotton smells like it's saturated with paint thinner, but there's more than that. It will clean s/s, and polish darn near any smooth metal, but don't use it on clearcoated metals or wheels because it will remove the protective finish. (Used to use it to polish the brass in the conning tower or periscope stand.......)

i just went to clean my corsa's tips and thank GOD i did
the one tip was so loose another back road jaunt id of lost it
im taking it in next week and finally welding the damn system together i didnt at 1st as i wanted it to settle and then adjust the tips perfectly straight then weld it...

Jay, That's strange.......I did my system in 11/06 and used the anti-seize on the threads and torqued according to the install paper, and everything is still tight. Your post worried me, so just took the car off the lift after checking. (Sprayed the mufflers and Y pipe with flat black hi-temp rattlecan. You can't see a thing from behind the car........)
