You will be probably advised to read the warranty booklet and work with your dealership. To my way of interpreting a "B to B" warranty you should be covered. (I have no doubt that, for clearcoated alloys, there is a big Catch22)

Are they peeling due to rock or stone chips? Or curb damage? Or any other type of outside influence?

    Yes
The chrome is peeling of my 2012 Sierra Denali wheels. I talked to the service manager and he told me he is allowed to replace factory wheels for cosmetic reasons ONLY once in the basic warranty period (not powertrain warranty).

I suggest you inspect them closely to see if other wheels are affected and point them out because you have one shot at getting them replaced.

    Hi cadillacpaul1979,

Submariner409 is right that a clear coat peeling is covered under bumper to bumper. However, the caveat is that if it is determined that the peeling is caused by environmental/external influence, then it is not covered (as Dino1SG inferred). So, as Submariner409 predicted, I would have to recommend that you consult with your dealership on this matter. I apologize that I cannot give a clearer answer, but the dealership makes the determination. Please let me know if you would like any assistance during this process.

    Enjoy your night,

    Austin J.
