    2001 STS Starting Problem

I am tired of dealing with GM and their excuses as to why my 2001 sts Seville won't start most of the time. I have replaced crankshaft position sensor (A&B) and I still have the same problem..Gm tells me to spend more money on these sensors..I guess by spending money on cadillac sensors they think it will keep them in business or something..I shouldn't have to replace those sensors every 2 years! I've had this problem for 8 years! No mechanic can figure out the problem. Tried to work with Specialist Joe and got nowhere except for more out of pocket costs after being demanded by Joe the specialist to take the car to a cadillac mechanic. I am starting a class action suit because it looks like many people have the same issue. If you are interested in joining in on a class action suit please email me at devilsplaytoy101@gmail.com it's time they rectify this issue before there are more issues or worse. .more fatalities.

It's a thirteen year old hoopty for Pete's sake. It's time to put it out to pasture.

    Re: 2001 STS Starting Problem

Sounds like no one has diagnosed the TheftLock, security, key/ignition switch and fuel injector control circuits. If the CKPs have been replaced - the original Mexican Siemens units with the new Japanese DENSO units - and a CKP Relearn Procedure performed with a GM Tech-II - that should not cause a no-start condition.

"Class action suit" ???? Tee, hee ! What "fatalities" ? Who is "Joe The Specialist" ?

Yep - the car is now almost 14 model years old ..................

Posting one's e-mail address in a worldwide public forum is not the best idea. You'll receive far, far more replies than you ever bargained for....................
