2 days out of CPO and I have to Pay for a new diff are you serious

I own an 07 V the CPO ran out a few weeks back. Prior to the CPO ending I called and asked for an appointment one of the service advisers directed me to the following Monday for an appointment no problem. I brought the car in for an odd vibration at highway speeds when in six gear. Long story short my CPO ended the Saturday prior to that Monday the car requires a new rear diff and they want me to pay for it. Me being required to pay for anything 2 days after the warranty just ended is just unbelievable to me. Please call me as soon as possible with good news.

    VIN: 1G6DN57U1701****

The car is at Murphy Cadillac
    174 E Hibiscus Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32901
    (321) 727-2830
(as you can see it has gone in for a repair more than once just to return the car back for the same problem or a new fault they have induced)

    Thank you,

Update GM is offering to pay % 60 what a joke this is after the dealer first misdiagnosed it as a driveshaft, then a transmission mount. Now they want me to pay a grand for a rebuild or $1800 for a replacement. The problem is a stong groaning vibration in 6th gear at highway speeds downshift to 5th smooth as glass.

I'm not so sure they got the diagnosis right this time either. Their first "guesses" sound better. If you are saying it only happens in 6th gear and not in any other gear at any speed or load it doesn't sound like a diff problem to me.

Who pays the dealer for the CPO repairs? Whoever does might want to hear about the driveshaft and transmission mounts they paid for that were NOT the problem.
