Hi all, I'm pretty new to this forum but I really need some help. Summer 2012 I purchased a pre owned 2010 Cts Wagon with about 40k miles. I know most things are in warranty but I received an email stating it's time for scheduled maintenance. Is this included in my warranty or will I have to pay for whatever they do? How can I find out the cost if any?

"Scheduled maintenance" is normally the responsibility of the owner and includes such normally consumable items as engine oil, filters, brakes, tires, air filters, spark plugs, etc. The maintenance you asked about is noted in the rear sections of your owner's manual - a simple call to your local GM dealer can get a ballpark price question - as always, worn parts or damage uncovered during "normal maintenance" may or may not be covered by a vehicle warranty. If you document it, scheduled maintenance may be performed by a local shop without affecting a warranty - but keep your receipts and paperwork - GM can get snitsy if you go to them later with problems. If you are a regular GM customer, the amount of e-mail and post card "specials" and "discounts" you receive will keep you busy each week. (I am NOT a GM rep or dealer - I'm a GM owner)
