We have the same trans as the camaro and the gxp and they have short shift kits - could we interchange ? I do notice during aggressive shifting the throws are still too long. A nice inch drop would be perfect. |

I have an auto and not too important, but very surprising. Usually one of the first mods available. Hmmmm! |

I am going to contact them and see if they have anything, if they don't I will discuss doing the prototyping work with them.
I'll look to see if they are at SEMA right now as well.

If anyone is intrested we could make one for you guys,we would just need a car for couple of days to prototype and will give one for free.
We are in Burbank Ca and you could contact me at yesso@sbcglobal.net.
Thanks. |

Thanks. | You aren't too far from me, and I'd consider it, but I guess I must ask this simple question...
Do we REALLY need it?
The shifter in the V1s were clearly lacking, but the current shifter is about as smooth as ice and the distance betweem shifts doesn't seem too egregious.
Am I missing something??
It seems to me that GM listened to (cough) us and fixed a LOT of issues from the first generation. Yeah, there are some things that I wish they didn't mess with, but damn--the V2 is just a really sweet car.
Okay, okay, the stupid cast piston is horsesh*t, but... | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
