Angry Question to those with C5 Z06 18 x 10.5 rims

Remove this ad
I went to have my drag radials put on my car today. The C5 Z06 rims scraped the brake caliper and didn't fit. The tire mechanic looked and found that there are two different offsets for C5 Z06. He had ordered me the +58 offset. There is also a +56 offset. Will this one work instead? I get charged a restocking fee each time, so I don't want to order unless I know these will fit.

They were 18 x 10.5 C5 Z06 rims though? If that is the case, maybe I just got the wrong offset. I would like to know for sure, so I don't get hit with an other restocking fee. Several members on here said they had this set up on different threads. I wonder if any of them have an invoice on the rims that would tell them the offset. If so, I would like to know.

Offset are supposedly +51 front and +56 rear. http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...eel-specs.html (Stock Wheel Specs)

Why not use the 19's on the back of a Corvette C6 and keep it the same?

I'm only using the C5 Z06 rims because I want to use drag radials when I go to the track. I can only find 18" drag radials from Mickey Thompson. No one makes a 19" drag radial. I would love to find a drag radial that fits our car so I could just keep the stock rims!

Has anyone tried the A6 or R6 19 inch tires from Hoosier. This would allow me to keep my stock rims.
