Thought I'd chime in here since someone has already mentioned Firefox and ad elimination add-ons. I typically use IE and AdBlock, an add-on, and the page load time difference are night and day. With AdBlock enabled, the pages are rendered in less than a couple of seconds. When disabled, I sometimes see loads upwards of 7-8 seconds. As I am viewing this thread now, there are 26 ads that have been blocked. Using Firefox with Adblock Plus, I get similar results. |

This site is much slower than the previous CTS-V site and much slower than it used to be. Something has changed and not for the better. |

I am not a supporting member, yet. I do use Firefox with adblock plus, on an ultralight PC with XP, on DSL. It takes 3 seconds or less to load any page, always. Both for this forum and the regular CTS forum. |
