One of my local dealers is beginning their pre-order tomorrow and he said that along with the fast Black being available with the normal Light Platinum, Thunder Grey that for 09 Crystal Red and Blue Chip will also be available.

Still no White Diamind for those hoping for it.

Seeing how I've owned 20+ black cars, tell me more about this Black Ice color Tony.

Side note - Stormtrooper white diamond will be kick ass with the right supporting tasteful touches.

As far as I understand it from our paint supplier, Black Ice is pretty much Black Raven with crushed glass added to the clearcoat layer. As such, all the metal flake sits above the color coat, making it extremely "sparkly" (for lack of a more masculine word ). It looks Black at night and in the shade, but Charcoal Gray metallic in direct sunlight.

It's still foggy and crummy here at 8:15- when the sun comes out, I'll take a few photos and post them up here.

I would love to see the blue and red also....any cars on the lot with those colors? I know the red is available in the CTS, the blue might be a new color.

And what's your thought on the Ebony/cashmere interior? It intrigues me.

He drove both my CTS-V and STS-V and claims it's my fault he's now ordered an 09V. Hopefully I will get to drive his after it's broken in. He's been an SUV guy for many years.
