A) - Go to largest dealer with massive overhead in Pinecrest.
B) - Preorder a V at said dealer
C) - Apply lube
D) - Bend over

Seriously I went to williamson recommended by the owners personal friend and golf buddy.

I think they tried hitting me even harder, maybe better coming off the street no recommendations...

First you do not know the price range. Some people would want to spend $300 on a good portable rather than $2k+ on a stock unit.

Second leather interior is an option on a BMW M3. The more options, the lower the base price can be, the more units you can sell.

Third I know on my 04 that the sunroof was an option, so I have heard of that before.

They are not going backwards, they are trying to make an expensive car, less expensive by making some high dollar features, options.

In FL, any car with a sunshade covering an oversized sunroof is like a big greenhouse. I definitely don't want a sunroof and am very glad I have the option of not paying for one.

So true. If you leave that cover slid back off the glass, temps go up at least 20 degrees higher than if its covered.

I've owned my current V for nearly 3 years and maybe I've used the sunroof 4 times. I think I could live with out it as well..... Plus that leaves money for the wheel fund.....

Was always a pro sunroof, t-top, targa roof guy until planting the V upside down in the ditch. Amazing how one event can change your life's view of only having glass between you and the Earth.

please dont tell me that someone out there would rather have a portable navigation stuck to the window??? you have to be kidding me ...we arent talking about the old v1 that was 50k..we are talking about a car that could be as high as 70k..and for it not to come with touch screen navi and radio??.on my 05ctsv it came with sunroof and navigation..thats why im saying they are going backwards..some people like sunroofs and some dont...p.s. cant wait to upgrade to the recaros!!

My 07 Lade does not have NAV because I did not want it. I had it in my 06 SRX and hated it. I need NAV about 6 times a year. I have a cordless portable that sits in my ashtray - nothing suction cupped to the window - for those times. I don't like the fingerprints or over complication for radio functions that was associated with my prior NAV systems. If I travelled in unfamiliar areas a lot, I would absolutely get factory. BUT..... Some people really do not want factory NAV....... Really.........

I like that it is still an option (on some models).

i hear yah...i guess theres two points to it..maybe since i live in los angeles i use the hell out of it,thats why i dont think i could live without it..plus love the touch screen, prints and all..just keep a little eyeglass cloth handy and that does the trick..
