GM is about to publish a press release, indicating that a football club, that is supposed to be professional in caliber, which sucks so bad, will not be allowed to pruchase the '09 cts-v.
In a related note, GM goes on to say, that groundskeepers from Hienz field will also be banned.

Age: 45 | | | Re: Dolphins players banned from '09 CTS-V purchases. I can substitute for BJS while he is on the road today in order to view in-person the 'Fins trashing the Jets this Sunday.
The Dolphins kick arse, they were told after Don Shula's unparalleled tenure ended that they would have to start losing a few games each year in order for the NFL to have the appearance of parity. Dan Marino was not a good listener, so he continued in his winning ways and obliterated every passing record until Jimmy Johnson, aka PermaHair, pissed him off, thus he retired early; he had at least another five good years left. The current Dolphins are not supposed to win, they are angling for draft picks, and will prove their supremacy in the year 2015 or 2014, whichever comes sooner. Besides, how competitive can you be when:
1) Trent Green, coming off a great year, gets kneed in the head by a 320lb lineman and lands on Triple Queer Street
2) Ronnie Brown, bangs up knee, the NFL leader in yards from scrimmage at time of injury
3) Zach Thomas, the best MLB in the NFL, can't find a large enough dose of Advil for his constant concussions
4) Wes Welker leaves so we can afford Joey Porter, no excuses for this stupidity
5) Chris Chambers, your #1 receiver is sent packing to the Chargers
6) Cleo Lemon, enough said, but I am sure some like him
7) Nick Saban depletes your roster and kills morale-#1 Loser of All-time
8) Dave Wannstedt, terrible coach, blew in Chicago, was 'given' job by JJ, Wayne should have vetoed this
I could go on, but you get the point, it is an ugly year, an ugly eight years, but real fans still have optimism and I guarantee you that we will be first this year----first in the draft!!!
By the way, tragedy regarding Sean Taylor, great talent, very sad end.
Prayers for his family. |

The NFL is the best sports entertainment, bar none. The drama of the 17 game season, 12 team playoff system, reverse order drafting order, etc. etc. etc.
Is everything perfect in the NFL? No, but it's in much better shape than any other pro sport (at least that American's watch).
College sports used to be truely about sports, now all the prominant sports are just about money, and the ones that aren't are neglected by their institutions.
GO STEELERS!!!!

The President of Bugatti tried to ban rappers and oil barons from buying the Veyron- he claimed that he wanted the cars to go to drivers, not end up in rap videos on twenty-fohs or sitting in a field getting sandblasted.
It didn't work out so well, but I applaud the attempt.

You guys hit a sore point with me. Growing up a Dolfan in NY was tough enough. Then I finally move down and buy my season ticket. One week later, Ricky Williams goes on a bong-a-thon and quits. Then they start the worst losing streak ever. Now they completely suck. Ricky is back with no dreads and will not be the threat he was.
I also call the NFL is fixed. If Pats have perfect season, so will the Fins.
I hope they beat the Jets. That used to be one of the greatest rivalries.
I also hope they don't get V's. We don't need celebrities driving the V.

Ricky is done for the year, he can go back to his bong hits-we have no running backs, so watch out for the 600-yard passing game.
Celebs do not drive Caddys, they drive Aston Martins...

I an just a bit too young to have really enjoyed the 70's Steelers. I wallowed throught the 80's with my beloved Black and Gold. You all remember Mark Malone, the master of the bounce pass? Or the prolific (ok not so much) Bubby Brister. [Who could forget the QB's of the central back then: Bubby, Boomer, Bernie and Warren.]
92+ though has been berry berry gud to us Stillers fans though
