A CTS-V cost just as much as a C5 Z06 in 2005 ($52k).
If they get 550 to 600 hp I figure an upcharge of a minimum of $9k motor wise and another $8-10k in everything else.
I just saw a new CTS with a sticker very close to $49k.
Do the math.
I know it is nothing more then speculation, but I still think the V will be close to if not over $65k. | I'll take that bet. You have 65K and up, I have 64.9999K and under. Pure 100% window sticker from the factory on the standard V model, no dealer markups.
$ 25.00 or $ 50.00 gift certificate (whatever we agree on) to the chain restaurant of your choice (since we live far away). |

As for new cars crushing the old models' resale, that's short term. Have you priced out a first gen M3 or M5 in good shape? Egads expensive! ... | Same Same. You'll have to pry my first gen V out of my cold dead hands .

He wouldn't even take a bet with me regarding his uber powerful and beloved 'Fins, against my pittiful Steelers. (perhaps he is smarter than he looks. Come to think of it that's not very hard either.)

Kadonny, you and I have held the line on pricing for a while now (I can't even remember what page my predictions are on), but I'm in on that bet if there's any takers. Over/Under $65k, me and K in the under.
Bring it!

Are you guys predicting stripper base model V's or max option V's?

Is there any reason for scissor doors on a Murcielago other than to look freaking cool? Same with popup Nav. Every customer I've showed it to says, "Oooooh..."
Regarding the price:
There won't be too many options on the new V. Figure optional automatic and Sunroof delete will be it. My "Under $65k" prediction is Manual Transmission and sunroof. |

I vote for over $65k MSRP and there won't be a "base model".
It will be loaded.
