I'm surprised there haven't been any comments about the harmonic dampener bolted to the carrier.
It's an interesting design, and will probably absorb the whining from the rear. The $20 it probably costs to add this will probably save them a couple hundred thousand on pointless diff replacements.

That's why I linked the actual MT site. Their first paragraph is an "UPDATE". They retracted the 7.0L statement and now say it's a blown 6.2L motor. |
