I wonder why all the wild colors never make it on to the High Performance models? White Lightning, SOM, Out of the Blue, etc.... all would be killer V colors.

I would have jumped on an Orange V, I held out till 12/04 not buying a V and waiting for Caddy to offer something better than Black or Silver.

My driver is a beater, it sits outside, I don't wax it, it gets hosed off every couple of days and I drag a towel accross it. I DON'T LIKE OWNING BLACK CARS!

I hope Cadillac gives up on BULLSHIT limited colors this time around.

Why all the flack about Black?
Black is an easy color to repaint if you don't like it.
No need to worry about leaving black paint in the engine compartment or door jambs when you paint another color.

Just got my Autoweek dated june 25. Article about the 09 cts-v.They say lsa engine. The car is known at GM as GMX322 V S/C. All this has been hashed out already I know but it is dated June 25th. So its the most current mag info out there. Here is some more info from the article, patented integrated supercharged,Brembo brakes, making 525hp or better, no wheel hop do to a completely redesigned rear suspension, manual tranny and paddle shift auto. That sums it up, not much new stuff but it is stuff

There were 2 pics as well. Interesting thing it shows the new headlights. The rotors dont have the silver hats maybe 1 piece. The car also has 2 different side mirrors , 1 new style one old style . The mesh grill also looks to be a heavier wire compared to our current V's. This car is going to kick ass

I had black once, never again. Too hot in the summer, swirls too visible in the sunlight. And I dont have time to polish every couple of weeks.

So what's the LSA engine? Perhaps a 600 hp Lysholm Supercharged 6.2L based off the L92 engine?

Lysholm - Looks similar to a helical roots-style "Maggie" blower, but with rotors that are far more twisted and have a conical taper. These screw type rotors have their own an internal compression ratio making them more efficient during high-boost.
