My V is a company car, and for tax reasons, I am considering getting a new car before the year is out. At this point, it would most likely be an M5 (need 4 doors).

However, the news is good enough on the new V that I might push that decision off, if something more official gets released before, say, November.

Will something be forthcoming by then?

Bottom line? I won't do anything that jeopardizes my career- I have way too much invested for that. That being said, once they let us bunch of yahoos see the car, the cat's pretty much out of the bag. Find me a car salesman who can keep a secret .

I'll ask around, and if one single person gives me persmission to share it with a group of enthusiasts who are potential (and current) customers, I'll come through for everyone here.

Several, but since I am a partner , I'm the only with a company car like that.

My partner's car is a 2007 Range Rover supercharged that he just bought a few weeks ago.

Our other car is a worn out, broken down, dented up, Town and Country minivan, but I never drive that one.

I think it is entirely possible that bulge is just GM sowing disinformation, and get people like MT and us to do exactly what we are doing, let our imaginations run wild. And I still think the guys at GM are reading all of this and laughing their collective derriers off.

This is beginning to get interesting. Would GM try to fool us all with a fake "bulge" in the hood in the prototype? Or is is possible they are testing both with and without a SC? The important thing, in my opinion, is to get a rock solid engine with some Corvette heritage - and I think the LS7 fills the bill!
